First, we need to extract the Key Stream and Key URL from Instagram.
​Note: You must be a creator on Instagram — if your brand profile isn’t, please change it.

1.1 Open Instagram from your computer

1.2 Click on “Create” from the bar on the left side

1.3 Click on “Live video”

1.4 Add a title to the event and select either "Practice Mode" or "Public Mode", depending on whether it's a practice session or a live event.

Once you click “Next” you’ll get the Stream URL & Stream Key.

These are the two keys you’ll need to copy and paste into the Terrific platform to enable Instagram restreaming within the platform.

2.1 In Black Admin → Feature Flags, enable Streaming. (or ask your Customer Success Manager)

2.2 Once your live session is created, go to Streaming and enable the Instagram Live button.

2.3 Click "I Understand"

2.4 Copy and paste your RTMP Server URL and Stream Key from Instagram into the Terrific platform.

2.5 Click "Save session"

2.6 Click "Test Stream"

2.7 Normally, you’ll receive a green confirmation message saying “Test Successful!” This means your Instagram test stream is running correctly.

2.8 Join your session and go live.

2.9 Go back to your Instagram Live page, and the camera feed should now be displayed. Then, click Go Live.

2.9 Click “End Live Video” when your live session is over.

Note: When using the restream function, it’s not possible to pause your live directly from the Terrific platform.
You will need to end the session by default instead.
