Stream your live session through OBS

Several key parameters that you should know & validate for streaming on obs:

  1. Close all windows and apps that are open on your computer.
    ONLY OBS SHOULD BE RUNNING.

  2. 🌐Internet connection- Make sure your internet connection is on upload of at
    least 50. Mbps you can check it HERE

  3. A designated Host- The influencer/expert in front of the camera who is responsible for leading the live session.

  4. A team member- An admin, providing essential support to the Host throughout the session.

HOW TO STREAM THROUGH OBS:

  • To host a session, you must sign up/log in via email.

Go to your session control panel as a host:

Go to “Settings”
The default camera is the one you entered the session with.

Change Camera to: “ OBS - Virtual Camera”

Your screen should look like this:

Now, Download OBS (Open Source Broadcast Software) for your relevant computer

a. Once the download is done, open the file and install OBS on your computer.

b. Now is the time to set up your OBS settings:

  • If the Auto-Configuration Wizard didn't open automatically or you’re still missing some information/inputs, you can skip this stage and get back to it later. You will find it under tools on the top bar:

Choose the last option (“Only Virtual Camera”) then click “Next

Select “Apply setting

Now let's add and set a camera inside OBS

Click on “Sources” then click on the “plus (+)” sign and choose “Video Capture Device”.

Name your camera, then click “OK

If the camera you’re going to use is not the default one, change it here under "Device":

Make sure the “Audio Output Mode” is at “ Capture Audio Only” (This is very important!) and click “OK

After clicking “OK”, your screen should look like this:

Click on “Start Virtual Camera” (on the left) to start streaming from obs to terrific:
(You're not Live yet)

Now it's time to adjust the camera frame to the middle of the canvas. Take a look at your host panel in the session to see how it looks:


After adjusting, it should look something like this:

Perfect the camera positioning and your position in front of the camera. Ensure the camera is at eye level, centered, and captures you in a well-lit environment to maintain a professional and engaging appearance during the session.

When you are ready, click on the “Play” icon in your session, and the session will start.
