This article will guide you through using the Moderated Chat feature during your live shopping sessions. Moderated Chat is a powerful tool that allows hosts and admins to interact with the audience in real-time, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and safe live shopping experience.

1. Accessing the Moderated Chat

Both the host and the admin of the live session have access to the Moderated Chat feature. Here's how to access it:

Locate the chat panel on the left side of your screen.

The Moderated Chat feature allows you to see what your audience is writing in real-time. Here are the key functionalities:

  • Viewing Messages: All messages from viewers will appear in the chat panel. You can read them as they come in.

5. Replying to Messages: Click reply on a message to reply directly. Type your response in the text box and hit enter to send.

7. Deleting Messages: If a message is inappropriate or violates your community guidelines, you can delete it. Hover over the message, click on "Delete."

9. Blocking Users: If a user is repeatedly disruptive, you can block them from participating in the chat. Hover over the user’s message, click on "Block User." This will prevent them from sending further messages during the live session.
